Advertising Terms

   Who these terms are between

   These terms are between Truckandbus Technologies Private Limited (CIN U63120KA2026PTC227607), which runs Truckaurbus, and the business that books an advert ("you"). The person who ticks "I agree" confirms that they may agree for that business.

   Your business agrees once to each version of these terms. We ask again only when a new version comes into force.

2. 02

   What you buy

   • A place on Truckaurbus (on the site, in the apps, or beside an answer from Ustad) for the days you book, for the share of the place you choose and for the audience you choose.
   • The place, the days, the share, the audience and the price are shown before you submit. The booking on your desk is the record of what you bought.
   • You never buy a position inside a rating, a ranking, a score, a comparison, the register's figures or an answer from Ustad. These are never for sale.
   • We do not promise a number of views, taps, enquiries or sales.
3. 03

   Who may advertise

   • A business on Truckaurbus whose kind may buy that place (for example a maker, a lender, an insurer or a dealer).
   • Only a verified business can book. A business that has claimed its page but is not yet verified can see the places and the prices, and can book once it is verified.
   • If your verification ends, your adverts stop showing the same day.
4. 04

   Your advert and our check

   • You give us the words, the picture and the link. They must be true, yours to use, and about your own goods, offers or schemes.
   • Every advert is checked before it runs, by our rules and by a person on our desk. We approve it, or decline it with a reason, usually within one working day.
   • If we decline an advert, the money held for it goes back to your balance the same day. You can change the advert and submit it again.
   • An approved advert starts on its first day. If we later find a problem with an advert that is running, we can ask you to change it.

   What may not be advertised

   • Anything the law in India forbids, or anything that helps someone break it.
   • Anything false or misleading, including a price, an offer or stock that is not your own.
   • A rival named or compared (another maker, lender, insurer or dealer).
   • A loan or insurance rate without the scheme's terms beside it (at least the down payment and the tenure).
   • Profanity, nudity, hate, violence or weapons.
   • Another person's trademark, photograph or words used without their permission.
   • Anything that asks people for bank details, card numbers, passwords or one-time codes.
6. 06

   The price, GST and how you pay

   • Every price is shown before GST. GST at 18 percent is added to it. The price of your booking is shown before you submit and is part of your booking.
   • When you submit a booking, its full price with GST is set aside (held) on your organisation's prepaid balance. Money that is held cannot be spent on anything else, and it is still yours.
   • Each week, the days your advert actually showed are charged from what is held. A day it did not show is not charged.
   • When the booking ends, whatever was held and not used goes back to your balance.
   • If we decline the advert, or you cancel before it starts, everything held goes back to your balance at once.
   • If your organisation has no prepaid balance, or not enough, we send a numbered pro-forma for the booking. The booking waits until the payment reaches us.
   • Your prepaid balance follows our Prepaid Balance Terms.
7. 07

   Pausing, ending early and cancelling

   • You can cancel a booking before it starts showing (a draft, a booking in review, or an approved booking whose first day has not come). Everything held for it goes back to your balance at once.
   • You can pause a running advert from your desk and resume it within its booked days. The days it does not show are not charged.
   • You can end a running advert early from your desk. The days it showed are charged, and the rest of what is held goes back to your balance at once.
   • To change the dates, cancel before the first day and book again.
8. 08

   Our right to pause or remove an advert

   We can pause or remove an advert at any time, without notice where needed, if:

   • it breaks these terms or the law;
   • a court, a regulator or the police asks us to;
   • your verification ends, or your payment fails;
   • it harms the people who use Truckaurbus.

   The days your advert did not show are never charged. If we pause it because these terms or the law were broken, the days already shown stay charged.

9. 09

   Days a place is down

   If your advert does not show on a booked day because of a fault on our side, that day is not charged.

10. 10

    Reports and data

    • Your desk shows your advert's views and taps by day and by week. A view counts when at least half of the advert is on the screen, once a person a day. A tap counts when someone opens your link. Robots, our own checks and repeated or very fast taps are not counted.
    • We count views against a code that does not name the person. We never give you a person's name, phone number or other personal details through an advert. A person who chooses to contact you does so through Truckaurbus, under our Privacy Policy.
    • You must not use an advert to collect personal details from people, except on your own website under your own privacy policy.
    • We may use your business's name, logo and advert to show it, to check it and in your reports.
11. 11

    Taxes

    • GST at 18 percent is added to every price.
    • If your business deducts tax at source (TDS) from a payment to us, tell us when you declare the payment and send us the TDS certificate. Your balance is credited with the full amount before the deduction.
12. 12

    Your responsibility

    You are responsible for your advert and for the page it links to. If your advert breaks the law or someone else's rights (for example a trademark or a photograph), you will make good the loss we suffer because of it, including reasonable legal costs.

13. 13

    Our liability

    We run the places with care. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the booking concerned. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost business. Nothing here limits a liability that Indian law does not allow us to limit.

14. 14

    Disputes, law and courts

    • Write to us first at [email protected]. We reply within seven working days and try to settle it with you.
    • These terms follow the laws of India. If we cannot settle a dispute together, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka decide it.
15. 15

    New versions of these terms

    We may publish a new version of these terms. It applies to bookings submitted after it comes into force, and we ask your business to agree to it before its next booking. A booking already submitted keeps the version agreed when it was submitted. Every version stays published, and the copy your business agreed to stays on your desk's Billing page.

16. 16

    Language

    These terms are published in English, Hindi and Tamil. If the versions differ, the English version applies.
