The house, in plain words
Prepaid Balance Terms
Version 1, in force from 30 Oct 2026
In short
- Your organisation has one prepaid balance on Truckaurbus. Every desk draws its paid units from it.
- Money you pay into the balance never expires.
- A top-up is the amount you choose plus GST at 18 percent. Your balance shows the whole amount you paid.
- Free or promotional credit we give you is used before your paid money and expires on its stated end date.
- Paid money you have not spent comes back to you on request, and when your organisation closes.

Who these terms are between
These terms are between Truckandbus Technologies Private Limited (CIN U63120KA2026PTC227607), which runs Truckaurbus, and the organisation whose balance it is ("you"). The person who ticks "I agree" confirms that they may agree for that organisation.
Your organisation agrees once to each version of these terms. We ask again only when a new version comes into force.
- 02
What the balance is
- One prepaid balance for your organisation, in rupees. Every desk your organisation uses draws its paid units from it: advertising, leads, the papers check, the road record, a fee on the Yard, and the others shown on each desk.
- The price of each unit is shown before you use it, as the price plus GST.
- The balance is not a bank account or a wallet. It earns no interest, and it cannot be moved to another person or organisation.
- 03
Adding money (a top-up)
- You choose an amount, from the minimum shown on the Top up page. We send a numbered pro-forma for that amount plus GST at 18 percent. For example, a top-up of ₹50,000 + GST is ₹59,000: you pay ₹59,000 and your balance shows ₹59,000.
- Pay by NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, a demand draft or a cheque, quoting the pro-forma's number, and then tell us on the Top up page. We match your payment with our bank statement, usually within two working days, and your balance goes up at that moment. A numbered receipt follows, which anyone can check on verify.truckaurbus.com.
- A pro-forma is valid for thirty days. If it lapses, nothing is owed. Money that reaches us after that is still added to your balance.
- When we add UPI, cards and net banking through a payment link, these same terms apply.
- 04
Paid money never expires
Money you pay into your balance stays there until you spend it or ask for it back. It never expires and it never lapses, however long it stays unused.
- 05
Free or promotional credit
- Sometimes we add credit you did not pay for, such as a launch grant or a waiver. We show it on its own line, with its end date. A founding place is not credit: it switches a paid plan on at no charge until its end date and adds nothing to your balance.
- This credit is used before your paid money.
- It expires on its stated end date, and whatever is unspent then leaves your balance. We tell you a month before.
- It is never cash: it is never paid out or returned as money, and it ends when your organisation closes.
- 06
Spending, holds and your statement
- A unit is drawn from your balance when you use it, at its price plus GST.
- Some things are held first, such as an advert or a reservation. The money is set aside, charged only for what actually happens (for an advert, the days it showed, week by week), and the rest goes back to your balance.
- Every top-up, draw, hold and give-back is on your Billing page with the balance after it. Each month's statement is a numbered document you can download and check.
- If you think a draw is wrong, tell us. We check it and give back anything drawn by mistake.
- 07
GST and invoices
- GST at 18 percent is charged once, on the top-up. Your balance shows the amount with GST, and each unit you use takes its price plus GST from it.
- We issue a tax invoice for each top-up after the money reaches us.
- If your organisation deducts tax at source (TDS) from a payment to us, tell us when you declare the payment and send us the TDS certificate. Your balance is credited with the full amount before the deduction.
- 08
Getting your money back
- You can ask for your unspent paid money back at any time by writing to [email protected] from your organisation's registered email or from your desk. We return it by bank transfer to the account it came from, within fifteen working days, and a numbered credit note records it.
- Money held for a booking or a reservation comes back to your balance when the hold ends.
- Free or promotional credit is never paid out.
- When your organisation closes (when its last member closes their account), its unspent paid money is returned to it by bank transfer.
- 09
Enterprise accounts
Some organisations have a credit limit under a separate order form. That order form governs the credit limit, the monthly invoices and the payment terms. These terms apply to everything else.
- 10
Mistakes and misuse
- If money reaches your balance by mistake (ours or a bank's), we may correct it. We tell you what we changed and why, and it shows on your statement.
- We can pause a balance that is used for fraud or against the law, and we tell you why.
- 11
Disputes, law and courts
- Write to us first at [email protected]. We reply within seven working days and try to settle it with you.
- These terms follow the laws of India. If we cannot settle a dispute together, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka decide it.
- 12
New versions of these terms
We may publish a new version of these terms. We ask your organisation to agree to it before its next top-up. Every version stays published, and the copy your organisation agreed to stays on your desk's Billing page.
