Truckaurbus Fleet and Nazar Terms

Version 1, in force from 24/10/2026

In short

  1. 01

    Version and language

    Version 1, 24/10/2026. Reviewed by: pending.

    This English text is the binding one. The Hindi and Tamil texts are translations for convenience.

  2. 02

    Who these terms are between

    These terms are between Truckandbus Technologies Private Limited (CIN U63120KA2026PTC227607), which runs Truckaurbus ("we", "us"), and the fleet owner who uses Truckaurbus Fleet and Nazar ("you"): the person who signs up and the business they run vehicles for. The person who agrees confirms that they may agree for that business.

    Truckaurbus Fleet is the fleet desk at fleet.truckaurbus.com and the Truckaurbus Fleet app. Nazar is its tracking, through the Nazar Driver and Nazar Driver Lite apps on your drivers' phones.

    These terms add to our Terms of Use (truckaurbus.com/terms) and our Privacy notice (truckaurbus.com/privacy). The Prepaid Balance Terms cover your balance. For a founding fleet, the Founding Fleets Offer (truckaurbus.com/terms/founding) is part of these terms. Where these terms and the Terms of Use differ about Truckaurbus Fleet or Nazar, these terms decide.

  3. 03

    How you agree, and when we ask again

    • You agree by ticking the box when you start, on the fleet desk or in the Truckaurbus Fleet app.
    • We record who agreed, for which fleet, which version, in which language, when, and where (the desk or the app).
    • When we publish a new version, we tell you what changed and ask you to agree again before you carry on. Every version stays readable at truckaurbus.com/terms/fleet.
    • If you do not agree to a new version, you may stop using Truckaurbus Fleet and Nazar and close your account (section 13).
  4. 04

    The service

    • Truckaurbus Fleet keeps your vehicles, their papers, your drivers, trips and money on one desk and in one app. Nazar shows where your vehicles are, from the phones of the people driving them, with no device to fit.
    • We keep improving the service: we add features, change them and sometimes retire them. Before a change takes away a feature you use, we tell you on your fleet desk and in the app: at least 30 days ahead for anything you pay for, and at least 90 days ahead for free tracking (section 5).
  5. 05

    What stays free

    • Tracking is free: the live map, positions at the free plan's pace, the alerts (such as a long stop, a silent phone and the driver's help button) and Khali daala.
    • We have no plan to charge for tracking. If that ever changes, we will tell you at least 90 days before.
    • Checks of a vehicle's papers and challans against the government's vehicle record are free within fair use: one check per vehicle a month, plus one when you ask before a sale or a renewal. More checks cost the price shown in the Plans room.
    • The Plans room on your fleet desk lists what is free and what is Pro.
  6. 06

    Pro, and paying for it

    • Pro is the paid plan. The Plans room shows what it holds and its price, plus GST.
    • Pro is paid per vehicle from your organisation's prepaid balance, under the Prepaid Balance Terms. There is no contract and nothing renews by itself: Pro stops when your balance no longer covers it, after a notice.
    • We do not take payments online yet. Until we do, we may let fleets use some or all of Pro without charge. That is not a promise to keep it free.
    • We may change Pro's price. A new price applies only after we show it, and never to what you have already paid for.
  7. 07

    Your drivers and their consent

    Nazar sees a vehicle through the phone of the person driving it, so what it records is that person's personal data. Before you give a driver a key, or ask them to install Nazar Driver or Nazar Driver Lite, you must:

    • tell them, in a language they understand, what is shared (the phone's position, speed and heading while sharing is on, the trips built from them, and the help button), who sees it (you and the people you give access) and why;
    • have their consent, freely given;
    • stop tracking a driver who withdraws consent, by taking their key back on the desk or in the app.

    Nazar Driver and Nazar Driver Lite show the driver their own notice when they start, and ask for consent. The driver can pause sharing when off duty, and stop by forgetting the key or removing the app. These steps help you; they do not replace your duty to tell and to ask.

  8. 08

    What we keep, and for how long

    • On your desk and in the app you see your vehicles' trips and positions for the last 90 days on Pro, and the last 7 days on the free plan.
    • We keep positions in full for 180 days on the Nazar server; after that, the trips, distances and day records stay. As our Privacy notice says, a copy is kept in our own archive so that we can improve our services, including by building models.
    • Your desk's records (vehicles, papers, drivers, the khata) are kept while your account is open. You can delete your fleet's whole Nazar record from the desk's Settings room, and close your account under Account.
    • Who answers for what, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: you decide to track your vehicles and the people who drive them, so you answer for telling your drivers, for their consent, and for what you do with what you see. We decide how Nazar collects, stores, keeps and uses the data, and we answer for that part, as our Privacy notice says.
    • We never sell positions. Nobody outside your fleet sees them, except where you share them: a record you hand to someone, or a mechanic who is read the driver's proof code while your providers switch is on.
    • A driver who wants to use their rights can write to [email protected]. If it touches your fleet, we tell you.
  9. 09

    Accuracy and availability

    • Positions come from phones. They can be late, wrong or missing: a flat battery, no network, the phone's settings or a driver's pause all stop them. Arrival times, "empty soon" and a vehicle's worth today are estimates.
    • Alerts can arrive late or not at all, and the service can be unavailable. We do not promise that it will always work.
    • Nazar is never for emergencies or the safety of life. The help button tells you; it does not call anyone else. In an emergency, call 112.
    • Papers and challans are shown as the government's record gave them on the date shown. Check them yourself before you rely on them.
    • Nazar does not replace a tracking device the law requires for a vehicle, such as an AIS-140 device on a national-permit goods vehicle. Keeping your vehicles legal is your responsibility.
  10. 10

    Khali daala

    • Khali daala lets you tell brokers you choose that a vehicle will soon be free, with a card you send them. Their offers come back to you.
    • Any load, rate, payment or contract is between you and the broker. We do not arrange, broker or guarantee loads, rates, payments or the people you deal with, and we take no commission on a load.
    • Put only what is true on a card.
  11. 11

    Using it fairly

    You must not:

    • track anyone without telling them and having their consent, or track a driver while their sharing is paused;
    • use Nazar to harass anyone or for any unlawful purpose;
    • sell, rent or pass on Nazar's data or your access to anyone outside your fleet, except a record you hand to someone who needs it for your fleet's business;
    • add vehicles that are not yours to run, or false papers;
    • copy, scrape or take apart the desk, the apps or their data, or get around their limits.
  12. 12

    Your account and the people you add

    • Keep your sign-in safe. You answer for what is done through your account and by the people you give access, such as managers and drivers with keys.
    • Take a person's access back when they leave your fleet.
  13. 13

    Pausing and closing

    • We may pause or close a fleet's access if it breaks these terms or the law, or puts a person at risk. We tell you why, unless the law stops us, and where we can we give you a chance to put it right first.
    • You may stop at any time: take a vehicle off, delete your Nazar record in Settings, or close your account. Unspent paid money on your balance is handled under the Prepaid Balance Terms.
  14. 14

    Our liability

    Section 8 of our Terms of Use (Liability and indemnity) applies to Truckaurbus Fleet and Nazar, including its cap. In particular, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a lost load, a fine, a vehicle's downtime, or a loss caused by a position, an alert or an estimate that was late, wrong or missing.

  15. 15

    Your indemnity

    If a driver or anyone else makes a claim against us because you tracked a person without telling them or without their consent, or used Nazar's data against these terms or the law, you will cover our losses, costs and reasonable legal fees from that claim. We will tell you promptly, let you lead the defence where the law allows, and not settle without your agreement where the settlement admits fault on your behalf.

  16. 16

    Law, disputes and contact

    • Write to us first at [email protected]. We reply within seven working days and try to settle it with you. Privacy matters go to [email protected].
    • These terms follow the laws of India. If we cannot settle a dispute together, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka decide it.
